Below are a list of the classes and programs for the Summer 2017 season.

Summer on Broadway Ages 10-18


Fast-paced intensive workshops for Ages 10 to 18. Students will learn Broadway-style choreography and vocals for 10 days that will culminate in 2 performances that showcase all they have learned.

Dates: July 10 through July 22

Summer on Broadway Ages 8-14


Fast-paced intensive workshops for Ages 8 to 14. Students will learn Broadway-style choreography and vocals for 10 days that will culminate in 2 performances that showcase all they have learned.

Dates: July 31 through August 12

Summer on Broadway Tiny and Twinkle Stars


Join the FUTURE STARS OF TOMORROW as they sing and dance their way to a live stage performance!

Class meets two days a week for 5 Weeks at the MTA Studio and culminates with two special big stage performances at intermission of our SUMMER ON BROADWAY shows in August.

The Principles of Acting - Single Classes


Learn how to “Be in the Moment” and express yourself in a safe environment with our amazing resident Acting Teacher – Deborah Mathews. Deborah takes you through a series of Acting Exercises and Theatre Games meant to sharpen your skills as an actor or actress, and open yourself up to becoming more comfortable, vulnerable, and authentically real in your next on-stage role.

Sold in single classes - up to 5.

Mastering Music Theory - The MTA Way!

In this exciting brand new skill-enhancing class, the well-rounded and serious Musical Theatre Performer will learn just how essential and beneficial it is to gain a better understanding and command of the Fundamentals of Music, while still putting the FUN into "Fundamentals!" The five-week course will be divided into three parts that include Music Appreciation, Music Theory, and Music Performance. Students will be exposed to many different types of Music, and learn the merits of each, while learning the basics of music theory simultaneously.

Summer Tap - with Amy Trgovac!

Time to finally buy that pair of tap shoes you've been thinking about or dust off the pair sitting in your closet and join Amy Trgovac for a toe tappin' good time as she breaks down the fundamentals of the art of tap dance. We will start with the basics and gradually advance throughout the course of five weeks.

All levels welcome but the class will be geared more towards beginners. It is highly recommended that those interested in auditioning for Crazy For You! Partake in this course as preparation for the whirlwind of tapping fun that lies ahead! Don't miss your chance to tap your troubles away!
