Below is a list of the classes and programs for the Spring 2017 season.
Our Tiny Stars program, ages 4-6, teaches students the fundamentals of dance and voice.
Our Twinkle Stars, ages 6-7, continue their education on the fundamentals of dance and voice as the class works to develop more elements of musicality and movement for the next level.
Brite Stars, ages 8-11, participate in a Broadway style show in a state of the art 400 seat theater with full sets and costumes. Brite Stars operates twice a year on a 4 month semester style schedule.
Join the Rising Stars, ages 10-13, in this semester's production of You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown.
Join the Shooting Stars, ages 13-18, in this semester's production of Urinetown.
The Principles of Acting
This semester we will be working on both contemporary and classical pieces and continuing our journey of the principles and foundations of acting. MTA resident acting coach Deborah Mathews will teach how to become more present in your characters wants and needs.
Musical Theatre Vocal Acting Workshop
MTA is excited to offer a 10-week Musical Theater Workshop, where you bring in your own songs and break them down like a monologue. MTA resident acting coach Deborah Mathews will help you find the "Who," "What," "Why," and "Where" of your song.
Triple Threat Class
Come join Miss Holly as we focus on how to better approach material in different acting scenes, perfect performance skills, understand stage direction, learn to use director's notes to make strong choices, relax and, most of all, have confidence.
